WHAT IS IT
A CT scan, also known as computed tomography scan, and formerly known as a computerized axial tomography scan or CAT scan, makes use of computer-processed combinations of many X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce crosssectional (tomographic) images (virtual “slices”) of specific areas of a scanned object, allowing the user to see inside the object without cutting. Digital geometry processing is used to further generate a 3D volume of the inside of the object from a large series of 2D radiographic images taken around a single axis of rotation. Medical imaging is the most common application of X-ray CT. Its cross-sectional images are used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in various medical disciplines.

WHERE ARE OUR CTs FROM – NEUSOFT (China)
Neusoft has 20,000 employees worldwide with 10 S/W R&D bases, 8 regional headquarters and a comprehensive marketing & service network covering 60+ cities across China, as well as international subsidiaries. 1st to receive both CMMI Level 5 and CMMI V1.2 Level 5 certifications. NeuViz Prime is a revolutionary product of Neusoft CT family. Gantry rotating faster than ever before, spectral imaging is offered relying on leading-edge H/W and S/W reformations. Un-compromised with heart rate With 0.259s ultrafast rotation speed, NeuViz Prime never compromises with the high heart rate. Arrhythmia handling and CMC will also help to ensure successful coronary artery exam. Ultra-HD imaging Micro focus spot, Quad-Sampling technology work with iHD (isotropic High Definition) and 1024 matrix, the spatial resolution can reach 30 lp/cm 0%MTF. Dual energy innovation Spectral imaging adds tissue characterization to morphology, improves the value of radiological department. Low dose design Unique 60kV scanning provides clinical breakthroughs on low dose scanning. It’s significantly beneficial to pediatrics. Clear View iterative reconstruction algorithm can reduce dose for patients of all ages.
